BJP’s West Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh has said that the party is preparing for the assembly elections in the state not from today but five years in advance.

He told the news agency ANI that he is confident that the BJP will definitely win 200 seats in the state.

He said that the party had started efforts to wave the victory flag in West Bengal much earlier and was running in a phased manner with the mantra of ‘Half (half) in 2019 and clear in 2020’ and to see its results in the Lok Sabha elections. met. The party will win more than 200 seats in the assembly elections.

In view of the assembly elections, an important meeting of the Central Election Committee of the BJP is going to be held in Delhi today. It is believed that many important leaders of the party can participate in this meeting.

Assembly elections in West Bengal are to be held in eight phases from 27 March to 29 April. Votes will be counted on 2 May.

However Election Commission asked the petrol pump dealers to remove all such posters which have the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the premises of the petrol pump.

A Commission official told PTI that in view of the assembly elections in West Bengal, the election late Wednesday evening asked all petrol pump owners to remove all advertisements containing central government schemes within 72 hours on which the PM’s Is the picture.

The Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal says that the code of conduct has come into force since 26 February after the announcement of election dates in the state and such hoardings are a violation of the code of conduct.

Earlier, a delegation of the Trinamool Congress Party met the election officials and said that the use of PM’s photograph in hoardings giving information about the government’s schemes is a violation of the code of conduct.

The delegation also said that the use of PM’s photograph in the corona vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health is also a violation of the code of conduct.
