Ground Report | New Delhi: Twitter again showed a distorted map; Twitter once again featured a distorted map of India in the career section of its website, sparking a major controversy. The map of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Ladakh that appears on the ‘Tweep Life’ section, detached from India

Many Twitter users have also shared screenshots, although Twitter was later told it was a technical glitch and would be fixed soon.

User deepakdkokha said, “@rsprasad is @Twitter new @PMOIndia Y such hesitancy in banning @Twitter what is the undertable dealing that @Twitter is becoming bold, anarchist day by day, humiliating ctzn of Hindusthsn & also altering demographic map.”

Another user, Vivekmane343, said, “Twitter again showing their left face showing wrong map of India you are still waiting for an official apology from Twitter? Show them their place this time.”

Another user said Twitter is banned in China but still shows China occupied Ladakh as part of China. But doesn’t show Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as part of India. Even big-tech crawls before China despite not being allowed. Be like China. There is little to no value in being a liberal democracy.

Another user wrote Twitter website shows J&K as separate country and Ladakh as part of China. Second time twitter has shown wrong map of India. Alas! We all know Govt. will again play notice notice with no concrete action against twitter.
