CBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Expected Date, How to Check, and Past Trends

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) concluded Class 10 board examinations on March 11, 2026. The exams ran from February 17 to March 11, 2026. Over a million students across India now wait for their results, which CBSE will publish on its official website, cbse.gov.in.

CBSE has not announced an official result date yet. However, past trends point to May as the likely month.

When will CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 come out?

CBSE has released Class 10 results in May for most years in the past decade. The board released results on May 13 in both 2024 and 2025. This year, however, CBSE plans to conduct a second board examination cycle starting in May 2026. This could push the Class 10 result declaration to April 2026.

Results in 2020, 2021, and 2022 were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In non-pandemic years, May remains the consistent pattern.

CBSE Class 10 pass percentage climbed from 91.10 in 2019 to 93.60 in 2025. Experts expect the 2026 pass rate to hold steady or improve slightly, given stable academic conditions post-pandemic.

Visit cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in

Click on “Secondary School Examination (Class X) Results 2026”

Enter your roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID

Enter the security pin and click Submit

Your marksheet appears on screen

Download it and save a printed copy for future use

Students can also access their digital marksheet through DigiLocker or the UMANG app.
