The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department announced the results of the 5th and 8th board pattern exams on Friday at 1 PM. The results were declared by State Education Center Director Harjinder Singh through the examination portal.

This year, 92.70% of students passed 5th grade, improving from last year’s 90.97%. Similarly, 90.02% of students passed the 8th grade, which is higher than last year’s 87.71%.

Girls have performed better than boys in both exams. In 5th class, the pass percentage for girls is 94.12%, whereas for boys, it is 91.38%. In 8th class, 91.72% of girls passed, while the pass percentage for boys is 88.41%.

The top-performing districts in class 5th results are Shahdol, Chambal, Narmadapuram, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, Rewa, Sagar, and Bhopal. For class 8th, the best-performing districts are Narsinghpur, Alirajpur, Rewa, Jhabua, Balaghat, Anuppur, Sehore, Dindori, Barwani, and Mandla.

  • Students, parents, and teachers can check results using roll number or Samagra ID.

  • School-wise results will also be available for teachers and institution heads.

  • A QR code is available to scan and check results easily.

Re-Exams for Failed Students

For students who did not pass in specific subjects, re-examinations will be conducted soon. These students will have to appear only for the subjects in which they failed.

This year, about 23 lakh students from over 1 lakh schools across Madhya Pradesh appeared for the exams. The exams were held between February 24 and March 5, 2025. The evaluation process was conducted at 322 centers, where over 1.19 lakh teachers assessed the answer sheets and entered the marks digitally through a mobile app.

State Education Center Director Harjinder Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality education. He stated that students from rural areas are performing strongly, proving that they are no longer academically behind.
