Know about YouTuber Raginyy, who roasted Sonam Kapoor and got a legal notice

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have sent a legal notice to YouTube content creator Raginyy for creating and posting a video that roasts the actress for her past tone-deaf statements. These statements include her comments on money, her popular chat with Rajkummar Rao, and her interview with Rajeev Masand.

Netizens often roast or troll the actor on social media, whether it’s for her accent, sartorial choices or her statements. At times, netizens become ruthless and troll the actors for anything and everything.

Raginyy responded to a legal notice titled “She Who Must Not Be Named” by sharing a video and even posting a screenshot of it. However, Instagram later removed the screenshot originally captioned as “Bro has lost his mind over one video.

Who is Youtuber Raginyy?

Raginyy, an emerging content creator, actively uses both YouTube and Instagram. She primarily creates funny reactions and parody videos. Although other content creators have a more substantial online presence, she has successfully attracted a niche audience interested in her unique style of content.

A content creator named Raginyy posted a video on her YouTube channel, in which she featured Sonam Kapoor. Raginyy roasted Sonam for her media statements in the video. She complimented Sonam on her acting skills but also acknowledged that people mock Sonam for her answers.

As soon as the video went viral, Anand Ahuja’s legal team sued the girl for defamation.

“Raginyy shared the screenshot of her legal notice on social media. As a content creator, she took to her social media to share her ordeal, expressing that she comes from a simple family.”

The legal notice underscores that such malicious efforts can harm the reputation of both Sonam and Anand’s brands and individual family members, that they put significant efforts into establishing. It further stipulates that they are using their legal team to combat defamatory comments, online harassment, negative news coverage, and unfavorable reviews about them and their brands.

The notice contains some snippets that state, “Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja, we are fashion entrepreneurs, public figures and licensee distributors of various global brands in India such as Veg Non Veg, Bhaane. We are also strategic partners for Nike stores, Rise in Cargo, and Converse shoes across the Indian subcontinent…”

The statement further states that an Online Reputation Management (ORM) solution provider has been tasked by them “to undertake all activities & actions over the Internet to engage and neutralize fake profiles created in the names of our family members, illegal rumours, misquote in interviews, photos, comments personal information uploaded on social media, defamatory comments, trolls, concocted stories, gossips, negative news and negative review about our fashion brands and businesses that could potentially be targets for sabotage across the Internet”.
