Farmers’ organizations say that if the government did not take a firm decision to remove the controversial agricultural laws in the talks held on January 4, they would intensify their opposition.
Talking to reporters on January 1, the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha warned of the closure of malls and petrol pumps in Haryana. He said that if his demands were not met, the farmers would march on the Kundli-Manesar highway and then travel from Jaipur to Delhi.

For the last 37 days, thousands of farmers have been protesting on the borders of Delhi. Even after six rounds of talks with the Center, there has been an in-principle agreement on the issue of stubble burning and electricity subsidy.
But there is still a deadlock over the huge demands to withdraw the controversial laws and implement the MSP legally.
Yudhveer Singh, general secretary of the Bharatiya Kisan Union-Tikait organization, said, “The government is taking light of the performance of the farmers. In Shaheen Bagh, they were successful in removing the protesters, so they think they can do the same with us. But this will not happen. “
He said, “If the government does not take a decision till January 4, then the farmers will have to take a decision.”

Bharatiya Kisan Sangharsh Samiti leader Vikas Cesar said that if the deadlock persists, the protesters will tell the date of closure of malls, petrol pumps and toll plazas in Haryana. He said that the BJP leader and his ally JJP will face frequent protests in the state.
He says that this is the strategy of the United Kisan Morcha to target the members of the NDA and pressure them to break the alliance for the farmers.
Union leaders say that the plan to carry out a tractor march on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway on December 30, will now be removed on January 6 if there is no concrete decision in the next conversation.

Swaraj India President Yogendra Yadav said that at present, the protesters are busy in Shahjahanpur on the Haryana-Rajasthan border and they will move towards Delhi if the talks do not proceed further.
