IIT-Delhi’s incubated startup Galleos Mobility has developed ‘Hope’, an electric scooter running at a rate of around 20 paise per kilometer.
The e-scooter is an affordable scooter for hope delivery and movement. This scooter will run at a speed of 25 km hours.

Along with this, it also comes in the discount category available to e-vehicles. There is no need of driving license or registration to run it.
Hope comes with a portable charger and portable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged with a common plug used at home. With normal electricity, this battery is fully charged in 4 hours.
Customers have the option to choose two different ranges of 50 km and 75 km of battery capacity in an ideal situation according to their traffic needs.

According to IIT-Delhi, this scooter is equipped with modern technologies like battery management system, data monitoring system and pedal assist unit.
It has IoT which always informs customers about their scooter through data analytics. Due to these features, Hope falls into the category of smart and connected scooters of the future.
Gelios Mobility is one of the few companies whose scooters have special features like pedal assist system.
During the journey, customers can choose the pedal or throttle as per their convenience. Hope is equipped with special reverse mode technology for convenient parking, with the help of which scooter can be parked even in difficult places.

The Hope has a strong and low weight frame built for cutting-edge use. The structure of the scooter and its lean design gives it the ability to move easily through heavy traffic.
Hubs will be set up for charging and maintenance of scooters on the routes used most by the company. In case of emergency, contingency services such as assistance on the way and facility to replace the battery will be provided by the company.

Go was done with the view of creating an ecosystem, Hope is our major step in this endeavor. “
