Deep Sidhu, the main accused in the violence at the Red Fort during the farmers Tractor rally in Delhi, has been arrested. Deep Sidhu, who was absconding for 15 days, was caught by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on Tuesday.
Delhi Police had also placed a reward of one lakh rupees on Sidhu. Despite being absconding, Sidhu was continuously releasing video messages through Facebook.

Delhi Police had recently claimed that Deep Sidhu was in contact with a female friend and actor living in California. He used to make videos and send them to his friend, after which she uploaded those videos to Facebook.
Deep Sidhu’s name was revealed in the violence in Delhi on Republic Day. He was last seen on January 26 amidst a crowd of farmers who had reached the Red Fort in violation of the planned route of the tractor march.
Sidhu is alleged to have incited the protesters to hoist the religious flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

Recently Sidhu released a video saying that he Did nothing wrong. So he has no fear of anything. He is collecting evidence related to the case and will appear before the police two days later. He asked the investigating agencies not to disturb his family.
Few days ago, Deep was also issued a notice by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) regarding his relationship with the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).
Deep had questioned the leadership of the farmers union during the agitation last year. During that time, he had also announced a new farmers association in the name of Shambhu Morcha. His front was also supported by pro-Khalistan channels.
