Republic India TV’s famous anchor Vikas Sharma has passed away. He was ill for the last three days and breathed his last in the hospital on Thursday evening. 

As per some reports, Sharma passed away due to post covid-19 complications. Sharma used to anchor primetime show ‘Yeh Bharat Ki Baat Hai’ on R Bharat.

A few days ago, he was admitted to Kailash Hospital in Sector 71, Noida, where his condition deteriorated late on Thursday evening. The family is preparing to take his body to his native place in Kanpur. His funeral will take place there

Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami has said that this is a big loss for his news network. Many well-known personalities have also mourned the death of Vikas Sharma.

He said that there was a different way of anchoring development and he is not sure that there will be no more development. Arnab Goswami said that Vikas was the anchor attached to the land and was very talented. 

Arnab Goswami said that Vikas was an anchor attached to the land, as well as he was very talented. Many well-known personalities have mourned the death of Vikas Sharma. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit, MLA Abhijeet Singh Sanga, BJP MLA Dinesh Chaudhary etc. have expressed condolences by tweeting.

35-year-old Vikas Sharma was a resident of Kanpur. He was undergoing treatment at Kailash Hospital in Noida. He breathed his last in the hospital. Vikas is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
