During the hearing in the Supreme Court on the petitions that removed the farmers challenging the agricultural law and protesting across the borders of Delhi, Chief Justice SA Bobde has said that he is deeply disappointed in what is happening right now.
Chief Justice has asked Attorney General KK Venugopal, who is presenting the government’s side, whether the talks have failed? He then commented that – “All this has been going on for a month, we do not understand what is going on between the government and the farmers.”

“This is a sensitive situation.” We want someone to be able to come up with an amicable conclusion in this matter. Chief Justice has asked the Attorney General whether the agricultural law can be stopped for some time?
He has said that there is not a single petition saying that these laws are good. The Chief Justice said, “What is the problem, can’t these laws be stopped for some time, what is happening?” People are committing suicide, the elderly are upset, women are participating in the protest, what is happening? ”

During the hearing, Chief Justice SA Bobde made a stern remark, asking – “We don’t know if the negotiations are going on?” He also asked whether these agricultural laws can be stopped for some time.
According to the news agency PTI, the Supreme Court told the Center, “We do not know whether you are part of the solution or part of the problem.” The court said that a petition has not come before us in which these agricultural laws have been described as beneficial for the farmers.
The apex court reiterated the need of the Committee on Agricultural Laws and said that if the panel recommends to stop the implementation of the laws, they will accept it.
The Supreme Court also told the farmers’ organizations opposing the agricultural laws, “Whether you believe it or not, we are the Supreme Court of India, we will do our work.” Several petitions on agricultural laws are being heard in the Supreme Court on Monday.

These include petitions by DMK MP Tiruchi Siva and RJD MP Manoj Jha challenging the constitutional validity of the three new agricultural laws of the central government. A petition is also to be heard in the Supreme Court, demanding that the protesting farmers be immediately removed from the borders of Delhi.
