Ground Report | New Delhi: Owaisi is a big leader; Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that BJP workers accept the challenge of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

Talking to news agency ANI, he said, “Asaduddin Owaisi is a big leader of the country. He has given a challenge to BJP. (For the 2022 elections), BJP workers have accepted his challenge.” “There is no doubt that the BJP will form the government in Uttar Pradesh.”

Apart from this, Yogi Adityanath dismissed the allegations being made by the Samajwadi Party regarding the election of the post of District Panchayat President of Uttar Pradesh, saying, “When we win the Lok Sabha or Assembly elections, they blame the EVMs, then they demanded That elections should be held by ballot paper. This time election were held through ballot paper, so they started accusing the administration.

“If BJP wins, sometimes EVMs, sometimes they accuse the administration and if Samajwadi Party wins then they work hard. This is also the hard work of the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJP has claimed a big victory in the election for the post of District Panchayat President in Uttar Pradesh. BJP has claimed victory in 67 out of 75 seats in these elections.

BJP’s glorious victory

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “ BJP’s glorious victory in the Uttar Pradesh Zila Panchayat polls is the blessings of ‘Janta Janardan’ for development, public service and rule of law. The credit for this goes to the policies of Chief Minister Yogi ji and the tireless hard work of the party workers. Hearty congratulations to the UP government and the BJP organisation for this.”

On the other hand, former Chief Minister of the state and National President of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav said that in the election of district panchayat presidents, the ruling party has made a joke of free and fair elections, disregarding all democratic beliefs.

He said, “BJP used force with the help of police and administration to convert their defeat into victory, kidnapping voters, stopping them from voting and getting them voted in their favour.”
