There is an alliance between BJP and JDU for Bihar elections. Of the 243 assembly seats in Bihar, 121 are with BJP and 122 with JDU. The JDU has given some seats to Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), after mutual consent.
At the same time, the BJP has given 11 seats from its account after announcing the development of the Kisan Party (VIP) to be included in the NDA earlier this week.
These four parties have an alliance in this election. According to Fadnavis, the four parties are going to get the benefit of PM Modi’s name.
However after separating from the NDA in the Bihar assembly elections, there are constant attacks on the Lok Janshakti Party, which entered the electoral arena.
On the one hand, the party is being called a vote-cutter and on the other, there are allegations of alliances with the BJP. The reason for this is that Chirag Paswan, despite being separated from NDA, is constantly showing his allegiance to PM Modi.
He said, “I do not want the Prime Minister to fall into any dilemma because of me. He should play his coalition religion. If there is anything to be said against me, do not hesitate.”
