Over 16 lakh students across Madhya Pradesh are waiting for one of the most important announcements of their year. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, known as MPBSE, is getting ready to release Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2026 โ and the wait is nearly over.
The board held its annual exams in February and March. Checking of answer sheets is now in its final stage.
When Will Results Come Out?
MPBSE has not announced an official date yet. But reports suggest the board will release both Class 10 and Class 12 results in the fourth week of April or the first week of May.
Last year, the board released results on May 6. A similar timeline is expected this year.
More than 9 lakh students appeared for Class 10 this year. Nearly 7 lakh sat for Class 12 exams.
Where to Check Your Result
Once the board releases results, students can check their scores on these official websites:
mpresults.nic.in
mpbse.nic.in
mpbse.mponline.gov.in
If websites are slow due to heavy traffic, students can also check results through DigiLocker or use the SMS service to get their scores without needing the internet.
How to Check Your Result
Students will need their roll number and other basic details to log in and view their results. Once they enter the required information, they can download a provisional marksheet directly from the website.
Keep your admit card or roll number handy before results go live to avoid last-minute confusion.
The online marksheet will include your name, roll number, parent’s name, school name, marks in each subject, total marks, grade, and whether you have passed or failed.
Check all details carefully. If anything looks wrong, report it to your school right away.
How Many Marks Do You Need to Pass?
Students must score at least 33 percent in each subject to pass. Falling short in one subject means you qualify for a supplementary exam โ so you will not automatically lose a full year.
After results are out, the board will open a window for re-evaluation and rechecking. Students can apply to have their answer sheets reviewed again. There is a formal fee for this process, and marks may change depending on the outcome.
Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for supplementary exams. The board will share dates and procedures for these exams shortly after the main results are declared.
Original Marksheet, When Will You Get It?
The marksheet you download online is a provisional copy. Schools will hand out original marksheets separately after the official results are released. You will need the original for college admissions and other official purposes.
Students are advised to keep checking the official MPBSE websites for updates on the exact result date.
