Power will be cut in many parts of Bhopal today due to maintenance work by the electricity department. Around 50 areas will face power outages lasting between 30 minutes and 7 hours.

The supply will remain off in both residential and commercial areas. Many busy localities like Shahjahanabad, Sindhi Colony, Bajaria, and 80 Feet Road will be affected.

People are advised to charge devices, fill water tanks, and plan work around the outage schedule. The power company says this is part of routine maintenance to improve service

The electricity department has urged residents to plan ahead. Charge your devices. Store enough water. Complete important tasks before the outage. Power is expected to be restored as per the schedule. If it gets delayed, contact your local electricity office for updates.

On Wednesday, May 21, several areas in Bhopal will face power cuts ranging from 30 minutes to 6 hours. The electricity department is carrying out maintenance and repair work across the city, which will directly impact more than 40 localities. Residents in the affected areas are advised to prepare in advance, charge their electronic devices, and plan daily activities accordingly.
