Farmers in Madhya Pradesh who missed the wheat procurement slot booking by April 30 now have one last chance to sell their produce. The government has opened a window for slot booking today, May 5. This is the final opportunity for farmers to register and get their wheat procured.

Here’s what farmers need to do:

  • Book Slots: Farmers who missed booking their slots by April 30 can now go to the District Food Office in their area to apply for a slot.

  • Required Details: In the application, farmers must provide their name, farmer code, and the quantity of wheat they wish to sell.

  • Get Token: After submitting the application, the farmers will receive a token for wheat procurement.

Farmers must ensure that their wheat is taken to the procurement center on the same day, May 5, after booking the slot. The wheat should be weighed, and the bill should be issued. If the process is not completed on May 5, the farmer will still be given a token.

For those whose slots expired after April 30, the validity has been extended. They can now sell their wheat until May 9. The District Supply Officer (DSO) has been instructed to ensure that these farmers can sell their produce by extending their slot validity.

This is the final chance for farmers to get their wheat procured this season. Be sure to visit the District Food Office and complete the process today.
