India is currently experiencing a variety of weather conditions, with rain and snowfall expected in the mountains due to a western disturbance. However, many parts of the country, particularly in North and Northeast India, do not expect relief from fog.

According to the Meteorological Department, various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.

The weather scenario extends beyond the lack of snow. Dense fog has been disrupting visibility in various parts of the country. From Patiala to Varanasi, Gaya to Vijayawada, we have recorded low visibility, which is impacting daily life.

Similar conditions of dense to very dense fog during the night and morning in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar over the next few days.
