The 67th National Film Awards have been announced. Awards has been announced for films made in the year 2019 and their actors.

‘Chhichhore’ starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has won the award for Best Hindi Film. Kangana Ranaut has received the Best Actress Award for Manikarnika and Panga. Manoj Bajpayee has received the Best Actor Award for Bhosle.

This time the award for Best Feature Film has been given to ‘Marakkar Lion of the Arabian Sea’. It is a Malayali film. Manoj Bajpayee has been given the Best Actor Award for ‘Bhosle’ and Dhanush for Asuran (Tamil).

Although it was announced in May last year, but due to the corona virus epidemic, it could not be done. Sikkim has been awarded the Favorite State Award for shooting the film. Sohini Chattopadhyay has been awarded the Best Film Critic Award.

The award is given from the Directorate of Film Festival. This organization works under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The awards are traditionally given by the President but the 66th National Film Award was given by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. However President Ramnath Kovind was present during the tea with the winners.
