India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has said that ‘We do not need anyone’s certificate on the state of democracy in the country’.
In a conversation with India Today, the Indian Foreign Minister also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads the frontfoot. He also named Angela Merkel of Germany in the same sequence.

He was asked that in many recent reports it was said that democracy has weakened in India since Narendra Modi came to power. Is this a challenge to the image of India? ‘
In response to this, Dr. Jaishankar said, “The reports you are referring to mention democracy (democracy) and autocracy, but it is not about democracy or autocracy, but it is hypocrisy. . These are the people according to which things do not happen, then their stomach starts to ache.”
“These people have made themselves the custodians (mentors) of the world and have appointed a few people. They seem to be troubled that there is someone in India, who is not waiting for their approval, they can make their game their Not playing according to the calculations.

These people have set their own standards and they keep telling decisions according to their own, as if it is a ‘global exercise’.
Dr. S. Jaishankar said, “They call us Hindu Nationalist Party. Yes, we are Nationalist Party, we have given covid Vaccine to 70 countries, and how many countries who have described themselves as advocates of internationalism, have given vaccines to them? Tell me how many people have said that the need of the covid vaccine is as much as our people, as much as other countries also need it. Then where do they go. “
The foreign minister said, “We also have beliefs, beliefs, our values, but we do not take the oath of office with a religious book in our hands. Think in which country does this happen? That is why I believe that in these matters we should be “We need to reassure. We don’t need anyone’s certificate on the state of democracy in the country, especially not from people who clearly have an agenda.”
