Who is Andrew Tate, did he converted to Islam?

A VIDEO circulating on social media allegedly shows controversial influencer Andrew Tate, who was recently interviewed by Piers Morgan after finding himself banned from all social media platforms, has converted to Islam.

Shared by the @GodListensToDua Twitter account, controversial influencer Andrew Tate’s post about allegedly converting to Islam has gone viral as comments continue to flood social media on Sunday, October 23.

Who is Andrew Tate?

His name is Andrew Tate, he was born in the United States and holds British and American citizenship, has won several world titles as a professional fighter and is a commentator for an MMA promotion in Romania called Real Xtreme Fighting.

Tate apparently made his fortune running an adult cam business called “myfreecams” with his brother Tristan. They employed women to have chat sessions with men in which the women complained about personal tragedies and claimed to need money, which the men would then provide via a “tip” feature on the site.

The Daily Mirror interviewed the two brothers in March. Tristan said in the interview that the company was a “big scam to sell gory stories to desperate men”.

“Andrew Tate, banned from all social media platforms, learns to pray salah from his close Arab friend in Dubai,” the caption read.

Other Twitter users commented on the video: “‎As Muslims, Allah (swt) has given us so many role models. Islam is a religion where you literally need not look elsewhere. Where did we go wrong for our young men to take people like andrew tate as role models over the prophets? Ahlul bayt? The companions? الله المستعان”

Another user accused Andrew Tate of “actively trying to stir up issues between Islam & Christianity out of ignorance.” These religions have found peace with each other. Let’s not go backwards from one guy who loves to hear himself talk.”
