Ground Report | New Delhi: Islamabad Dehli; Discussions about Jammu and Kashmir are intensifying once again. The Centre is likely to invite political parties from Jammu and Kashmir for talks in New Delhi on June 24. National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah said on Saturday that if he gets a formal invitation from New Delhi, he will first sit down and discuss the strategy. However, the PDP chief confirmed has confirmed stating that she has received a call from the ‘top leadership’ in New Delhi to attend a meeting on June 24.
News Agency KNO quoting, member of parliament Dr. Farooq Abdullah that “So far we have not received any formal invitation from New Delhi for talks. If we get an invitation, we will be the first to sit down and follow up for the meeting. We will discuss the strategy to go. So far we have not received an invitation from the Centre.

CPI(M) leader MY Tarigami also said that he has not received any invitation from the Centre. “I have received neither a formal nor an informal invitation. There is no communication from New Delhi,” he said. However, sources said that the Centre is going to invite all the leaders of the mainstream camp of Jammu and Kashmir one by one. A source close to the development said, “All the leaders will be invited through a phone call.”
Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party chief Altaf Bukhari said that the solution to the problems of Jammu and Kashmir lies in New Delhi. “We openly say that we have a connection with Delhi. The solution to the problems of Jammu and Kashmir lies in New Delhi and not in Islamabad, New York or London. Delhi’s invitation to the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir is a welcome development. My question to all political parties is that they call us Raja’s party, now who is Raja’s party?” Bukhari said in a clear reference to NC and PDP.
Bukhari said there are three main issues: restoration of statehood, security of jobs, and security of land. “With God’s grace and support of PM Modi and HM Amit Shah, we have managed the security of jobs and security of land and I am sure that within a year or two, statehood will also be restored.”

Islamabad Delhi; After the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir, it was expected that the preparations for the assembly elections would also start soon, but there was doubt about how long it would be. But now after the news of the meeting came out, it is believed that the central government wants to discuss with the parties first to discuss the delimitation of seats for the assembly elections, etc.
Central Govt Kashmir; On Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting regarding several development projects in Jammu and Kashmir. During this, he said that the development and welfare of all the people of the Union Territory is the top priority of the Modi government.
Apart from Amit Shah, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, NSA Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, IB Director Arvind Kumar, RAW Chief Samant Kumar Goel, CRPF Director General Kuldeep Singh, and Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh were also present in this meeting.
