Men from Saudi Arabia will no longer be able to marry women from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Chad and Myanmar. The Pakistani newspaper Dawn wrote in a report quoting Saudi media.

Dawn pointed out that the move is aimed at preventing Saudi men from marrying foreigners. Explain that additional formalities have been put in place before issuing permission for marriage with foreigners.
Qureshi said, “Those wishing to marry foreign women should first seek the consent of the government and submit marriage applications through official channels.”
Qureshi said that divorced men would not be allowed to apply within six months of the divorce. The official said applicants must be over 25 years of age and must attach all other identity cards, including a copy of their family card, along with identity documents signed by the local district mayor.
