Ground Report | New Delhi: Mamata Banerjee says; Once again the political atmosphere is heating up in Bengal. During the campaigning for the Bhabanipur by-election, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she will not allow the country to become Pakistan or Taliban.

He alleged that BJP says that if Trinamool Congress wins from Bhabanipur seat, it will become Pakistan. Mamta also blamed the BJP for doing politics of division.

Mamata Banerjee says

Mamata Banerjee said that “I don’t like BJP’s policy and politics at all. He always does politics of dividing people on religious lines. In Nandigram, BJP had said that if TMC wins there, it will become Pakistan. Now he is saying the same thing about Bhabanipur. it’s embarrassing.

In fact, after losing from Nandigram, Mamta Banerjee is now contesting the by-election from Bhabanipur to remain on the post of Chief Minister.

While talking to the voters during the campaign, Mamta said that “I want my country to be strong and I will defend my motherland with all my might. We do not want India to be governed like Taliban and I will never be able to rule my country. Won’t let the country become Pakistan”.

“I don’t bring religion into politics”

Criticizing the BJP, Mamta Banerjee said that they (BJP) also have a problem with going to my gurudwara.I went to a mosque, I went to a gurudwara too, and BJP has a problem with both. I don’t bring religion in politics, whereas BJP leaders understand only the language of politics of PartitionMamata Banerjee

Regarding a large number of Hindi-speaking people in the Bhawanipur assembly constituency, the TMC chief said that she will stand with them in every happiness and sorrow.

To woo the business community of the region, Banerjee said she was the first leader in the country to oppose demonetisation in 2016. She says that she understands the plight of the businessmen.
