It is to be noted that several Western countries had already warned of the danger of attack on Kabul Airport. The British Armed Forces Minister James Happy had said on Thursday that a serious attack on Kabul airport was imminent.
The British government also warned its citizens to stay away from Hamid Karzai International Airport, according to AFP.
“Reports received this week have become much more reliable and this is a serious threat,” Happy told Times Radio.
The most difficult task since the Taliban came to Afghanistan is to complete the first evacuation before the August 31 deadline. In this regard, many countries have already ended their operations or have announced to end in the next few days.

In this regard, Hungary says that it has ended the ongoing evacuation operation after evacuating 540 people from Afghanistan. Most of those deported from Afghanistan were Afghans who had cooperated with Hungarian forces.
The United Kingdom on Wednesday asked its citizens to stay away from Kabul airport, where large crowds have gathered in hopes of boarding evacuation flights after the Taliban take over Afghanistan.
“Hamid Karzai should not travel to Kabul International Airport because there is a serious threat of terrorism,” the Foreign and Commonwealth Office wrote on its website.
According to the latest figures, the UK has evacuated 11,474 people since August 13, including 6,946 Afghans.
