The Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK), Madhya Pradesh released the Class 5th and 8th board examination results on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Results went live on the official portal, rskmp.in, at 11:30 AM following a press conference at the State Education Centre office in Bhopal.
Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh formally announced the results at the press conference, which began at 11 AM. The results were made available online immediately after.
Over 23 Lakh Students Awaited Results
This year’s examinations saw 23 lakh 68 thousand students appear from government schools, private schools, and madrasas across Madhya Pradesh. Of these, 12.76 lakh students sat for the Class 5 examination and 10.92 lakh for Class 8 โ a higher number than previous years.
The exams were held between February 20 and 28 on a board examination pattern, a format designed to prepare younger students for the rigour of senior board assessments.
A total of 322 evaluation centres were set up across the state to assess nearly 23 lakh answer sheets.
How to Check Your Result
Students can check their results on rskmp.in using either their roll number or Samagra ID. The portal also allows teachers and school heads to view student-wise results for their institutions. A QR code linking directly to the result page has also been made available.
To check results, students should visit rskmp.in, select their class, enter their roll number or Samagra ID, fill in the captcha, and click submit. The marksheet can then be downloaded and printed.
Results are also accessible on mpbse.mponline.gov.in and vimarsh.mp.gov.in. Students who face difficulty accessing the portal due to high traffic are advised to wait and try again after a short interval.
What the Marksheet Contains
The digital marksheet includes the student’s name, roll number, parent’s name, subject-wise marks, total marks and percentage, pass or fail status, and division.
Students who need to retrieve their Samagra ID can do so using documents such as an Aadhaar card, ration card, or voter ID.
In the previous year’s examinations, 92.70 per cent of Class 5 students passed their exams. For Class 8, the pass rate stood at 90.02 per cent.
SMS Option Available
Students can also check results via SMS. To check Class 5 results, type MPBSE5 followed by the roll number and send to 56263. For Class 8, type MPBSE8 followed by the roll number and send to the same number.
