Ground Report | New Delhi: Who is Jhanvi Mehta; The IPL 2022 Mega Auction, a two-day event, kicked off today in Bangalore. This comes after two years as the last mega auction was held in 2018 followed by a mini-auction in 2021. The photos of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and daughter Suhana Khan during the briefing are going viral on the internet. Juhi Chawla’s daughter, Jhanvi Mehta, was also present at the conference.
In a post shared by KKR’s official Twitter account, the trio can be seen engaging in a serious discussion with franchise CEO Venky Mysore ahead of the mega auction.
Who is Jhanvi Mehta?
Jhanvi Mehta is the daughter of Bollywood star Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta. Besides Jhanvi, the couple also has a son named Arjun. Juhi Chawla’s daughter Jhanvi Mehta graduated in 2019.
Jhanvi, at the age of 18, became the youngest bidder in Indian Premier League (IPL) auction history. She was seen selecting players for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), a team co-owned by her parents. Back then, she also impressed Kings XI Punjab owner Preity Zinta at the auction.
In 2018, Preity shared a photo of herself with Jhanvi on Twitter. She tweeted, “Forget the IPL auction madness – great to meet the super-smart Janvi Mehta who gave me a hard time.”
During an interaction with IANS, when Juhi Chawla was asked if Jhanvi Mehta plans to join any films, she said: “Jhanvi is an avid reader. If there is anything she loves in this world, and if you ask her what she wants as a gift, it’ll be a book. She said she wanted to be a writer. Then she went through a phase where she said, “Okay, I want to be a model”. Tomorrow she might say “I want to be an actress”. she might say she wants to drop all that and play sports. do what they want.
