A case has been registered against four students for harassing a teacher in a school in Meerut. This comes after two videos of students making lewd comments on a teacher went viral on social media platforms.

In the video viral on social media, the students addressed the teacher as ‘Jaan’. After this, the students said ‘I love you’ to the teacher. It can be clearly seen in the video how the three students are misbehaving with the teacher. According to a police official, the woman teacher lodged the complaint on Friday alleging that three Class 12 students had been harassing her for the past few weeks. They were passing obscene comments several times on her way to school and back home. Apart from this, they used to surround the roads as well.

According to a police official, the teacher in her early 20s filed the complaint on Friday alleging that three students from class 12 have been bothering her for the past few weeks. They had been making obscene comments on their way to and from school several times.

The police officer said the teacher reported that she filed a complaint with the students’ parents, but they took no action.

Circle Officer, Kithore, Suchita Singh said: “The case has been registered under Section 354 (Assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 500 (Libel) of IPC and the relevant section of the IT law against three students after teacher complaint.”
