Bareilly Cantt. Assembly Constituency is a part of Bareilly Parliament Constituency in Bareilly district state of Uttar Pradesh. In Bareilly, there are 9 Vidhan Sabha seats whereas in Cantonment one Vidhan Sabha seat. In 2017, BJP Rajesh Agarwal the seat by defeating Mujahid Hassan Khan from Congress with a margin of 12664 votes.

Journalist turned Politician Supriya Aron, a former Mayor of Bareilly joined SP along with her husband and former Congress MP Pravin Singh Aron. In 2006, Supriya contested the mayor’s election in Bareilly and won on a Congress ticket. Supriya Aron’s name had figured in the first list of the congress declared on January 13.

Anil Kumar of BSP

Anil Kumar, the candidate of BSP. He is 43 years old. He is self-employed. BSP fielded more Muslim candidates than SP-RLD in the elections, it is possible that Muslim, Dalit votes will be divided, giving the BJP leverage, which so far has no Muslim candidates. 

Mohd. Islam Ansari of congress

Mohd. Islam Ansari Urf Alias Babbu is contesting from congress. he is 54 years old.

In 2017, Rajesh Agarwal of Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Mujahid Hassan Khan from Indian National Congress with a margin of 12664 votes. As per the voter list of the 2019 Lok Sabha election, there are 357636 electorates and 338 polling station
