Many areas in the capital of Madhya Pradesh will experience power cuts today due to maintenance and repair work by the electricity department. As a result, around 20 localities in Bhopal will face power outages lasting between 30 minutes to 6 hours.

Residents in affected areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience. The power cuts are necessary for system upgrades and repairs to ensure a stable electricity supply in the future

The affected areas include Hoshangabad Road, Malikhedi, Patel Nagar, Bihari Basti, Vijay Nagar, Pipaliya Baj Khan, and other major localities. Residents are advised to prepare in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Affected Areas and Timings

9:00 AM – 4:15 PM LIG 1 BDA, LIG 2 BDA, EWS BDA, and nearby areas.
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Atlantic Colony, Tribhuvan Colony, Krishna Heights, Kasturi Royal Park, Signature 360, and nearby areas.
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Lake View, Rajiv Nagar, Lalghati, NRI Colony, Rizwan Bagh, Shalimar Nursery, and nearby areas.
10:30 AM – 4:30 PM Quality Silver and surrounding areas.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Semri, Kankaria, Imliya, Dehri Kalan, Surayya Nagar, Amravat, and nearby areas.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Ahimsa Vihar, Vardhman Green City, Akanksha, Jheel Nagar, Geet Bungalow, Bhavani Dham Phase-2, Bhavani Campus, and nearby areas.

Residents should plan accordingly to minimise disruption caused by the scheduled power outages.
