Gold Breaks All Records at Rs 1.11 Lakh, Silver Shines Bright

Gold price touched a records Rs 1.11 lakh per 10 grams on MCX, boosted by strong global trends and a weaker rupee. December futures rose 0.72% to Rs 1,11,750, while October contracts stood at Rs 1,10,608. Silver also rallied, with March delivery hitting Rs 1,33,582 per kg and December at Rs 1,32,311. Globally, gold hovered near USD 3,732 an ounce after the US Fed’s rate cut and expectations of more easing. Analysts said safe-haven demand, central bank buying, and industrial use in silver, especially in solar and EVs, are driving prices higher.
