Power supply will be disrupted in more than 35 areas of Bhopal today on Saturday due to scheduled maintenance and repair work by the local electricity company. The power cuts will last between 1 to 6 hours, affecting key areas such as Idgah, Semra, Nilbad, Chandbad, and others.

The power disruptions are part of the routine maintenance work, and residents in these areas are advised to prepare in advance to avoid inconvenience. Here are the details of the areas and the time frames when the power supply will be affected:

  • 9:30 am to 10:30 am:

    • Ruchi Life Olive Campus

    • Ruchi Life Orchard Campus

    • Surrounding areas

  • 9:30 am to 3:30 pm:

    • Neelbad Square

    • Brahmapuri Colony

    • Golden City Colony (near Durga Temple)

    • Areas around DPS

    • Vishal Nagar

    • Balaji Nagar

    • Main Road Neelbad

  • 10:00 am to 4:00 pm:

    • Bright Colony

    • Idgah

    • Gurudwara

    • Chandbad

    • Hinotia

    • Vijay Nagar

    • Durga Nagar Colony

    • Semra

    • Gas Relief Hospital

    • Shankar Nagar

    • Kalyan Nagar

    • Timber Market

    • Kainchi Chhola

    • Navjeevan Colony

    • Neelkanth Colony

    • Goyal Dham

    • Sahara Complex

    • Maulana Azad Colony

    • Niyamatpura and surrounding areas

  • 11:00 am to 1:00 pm:

Residents are advised to keep their devices charged and plan their important work ahead of the scheduled power cut. This disruption is part of the regular maintenance schedule, and the electricity company aims to ensure improved service post-repair work.
