Ground Report | New Delhi: Akhilesh Yadav UP elections; Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav himself will not field in the UP assembly elections to be held next year. In a conversation with news agency PTI, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has said this.

Akhilesh said that the alliance of the Samajwadi Party with Rashtriya Lok Dal has also been finalised. Now talks are to be held between the two parties regarding seat sharing. Akhilesh Yadav is currently an MP from the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat and will be the chief minister’s face from the party’s side in the upcoming assembly elections.

Assembly elections in UP are to be held in February and March 2022. Last month, on October 4, Yadav was detained by the UP police from outside his residence in Lucknow, where he was staging a sit-in after being stopped from going to Lakhimpur Kheri, where eight people, including four farmers, were killed on Sunday. Went. 3 October. After this, Yadav said:

“Even the British did not commit as many atrocities as the BJP government is doing on the farmers. The Minister of State for Home and the Deputy Chief Minister should resign. The farmers who lost their lives should be given Rs 2 crore.” Their families should be given government jobs.”

On Chacha Shivpal Singh Yadav’s prospects of forming an alliance with Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL), the former UP chief minister said, “I have no problem with it. He and his people will be given due respect.”

With the assembly elections approaching, Akhilesh Yadav has been campaigning in the state and has been continuously attacking the ruling BJP, claiming that the party has only looted the people of UP and will be wiped out in the upcoming elections.

Last week, a BJP MLA and six BSP MLAs joined the Samajwadi Party, prompting Akhilesh Yadav to remark that the BJP family (BJP family) would become Bhagat parivar (runaway family) in the coming days.

Samajwadi Party’s media advisor Ashish Yadav said in a tweet that the party will take a final call on whether Akhilesh Yadav will contest the assembly elections or not.
