Police Statement:

In a media briefing the deputy superintendent of Police (DSP) Sanjeev Pathak said,

“The deceased’s post-mortem has been conducted and the last rites performed. Peace prevails in the area, and action is being taken regarding the arson incident as well. Police teams are deployed throughout the area, and we will arrest the accused soon.”

Additional Details:

As per NDTV’s report the deceased’s family retaliated by burning the accused’s houses and vehicles.

Police have brought the situation under control with heavy deployment said Police (DSP) Sanjeev Pathak.

As per video bytes of victim’s brother and Local BSP leader circulating in the media, the victim’s family has demanded a CBI investigation, financial assistance of ₹50 lakh, a government job, and weapon licenses for self-defense. They have given a 10-day ultimatum, warning of agitation if demands are not met.

Two days after the incident, members of the Kaurav community gathered at Davoh police station on Monday. They submitted a memorandum to Station In-charge Rajesh Sharma, alleging one-sided police action in the Dalit youth’s murder case. Despite the serious arson attacks on village homes, no FIR has been registered against the perpetrators.

Malkhan Singh Kaurav, President of the All India Kshatriya Kaurav Mahasabha, told media, “Our community’s houses were set ablaze. Women and children live in fear, yet police haven’t acted against a single accused. This is not justice but injustice.”

The community has demanded a permanent police outpost in Riniyapura village, citing their minority status and growing insecurity following the arson. They’ve issued an ultimatum threatening agitation if immediate action isn’t taken.

The other side’s FIR regarding the arson is not yet confirmed, and Bhind SP Asit Yadav has not responded to queries.
