The Delhi government has taken a big decision, Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has announced that now construction workers in Delhi will provide free bus pass for their daily commute. Workers of Delhi can also take advantage of free bus travel.

The Delhi government has made free DTC and cluster buses for the workers. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced that the government will give free bus passes to the masons, carpenters, electrician guards and other labourers engaged at the construction site in Delhi. Sisodia also mentioned that there have been 10 lakh construction workers registered.

Free Bus Pass For Construction Workers

The Arvind Kejriwal government on Wednesday announced free travel for construction workers in public buses. It will benefit over 10 lakh people in Delhi. As the workers spend hundreds of rupees in travelling every day. The workers can travel for free in Delhi buses with no ride limit. Aam Aadmi Party is not doing that kind of politics and believes that Leaders should get everything free and the labourers should not get anything free.

Workers Will Save thousands of rupees

As the workers spend thousands of rupees on travelling. This will help the construction workers save Rs1,500- 3,000 per month as some of them change various modes to reach their destination. He also asked workers to use this money instead of wasting it on transport use for their families After women, now the public bus rides have been made free for construction workers too. Workers can be registered online or at 34 registration centres of the Construction Board.

What Sisodia said about the maintenance of Funds?

When the deputy chief minister was asked about the fund for maintaining the scheme he said that if the government is honest then there is no shortage of money for welfare schemes. Kejriwal’s government is working for the welfare of the people. Providing free Buses and a new scheme will help in the development.
