Asmi Jain from Indore, a 20-year-old student at Medi-Caps University, has been selected as one of the winners of the Swift Student Challenge organized by Apple.
The opportunity has granted him the chance to attend the upcoming WWDC 2023, scheduled to kick off on June 5th. Jain’s winning project is an app designed to improve eye muscle strength while also tracking users’ eye movements.
Inspired by the condition of her friend’s uncle, who experienced facial paralysis and misalignment of his left eye due to brain surgery, Jain felt compelled to take action.
Her goal was to develop a solution, which led her to create this app. Jain’s vision for the future involves collecting feedback, ensuring efficiency and ease of use, and then releasing the app on the App Store.
Her ultimate goal is to expand the app’s capabilities to strengthen all facial muscles. Jain envisions her creation as a therapeutic tool that people like her friend’s uncle can use at her own pace.
What is Apple swift student challenge?
Apple Swift Student Challenge is an annual competition organized by Apple as part of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It is specifically designed to encourage and recognize the talent and creativity of student developers who have mastered the use of Apple’s programming language, Swift.
