  • Arunachal Pradesh

  • Assam

  • Meghalaya

  • Nagaland

  • Manipur

Detailed forecast

In South Peninsular India, light to moderate rainfall is expected over the next six days. Regions like Lakshadweep, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka are likely to witness widespread rain.

North Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam are forecasted for isolated to scattered rainfall on October 9. In Northeast India, isolated heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Meghalaya.

Unlike these regions, Delhi, along with Northwest, West, East, and Central India, won’t experience rainfall. Delhi’s weather will remain unchanged, with partly cloudy skies. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 35°C, while the minimum will hover around 23°C.

With strong winds forecasted at 35-45 km/h in coastal areas, the IMD has advised fishermen to avoid venturing into the sea until October 11 due to safety risks.
