Ground Report | SRINAGAR: In Jammu and Kashmir, the government sacked the suspended DSP Davinder Singh of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday. The General Administration Department of Jammu and Kashmir issued an order in this regard on Thursday, and removed Davinder Singh from the job in the interest of ‘security of the state’. An order issued by the administration, two other government teachers have also been dismissed from their jobs.
Arrest of davinder singh
In August last year, DSP Davinder Singh was arrested from South Kashmir on the charge of helping the Militants. He was arrested from the town of Qazigund in southern Kashmir on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Davinder Singh was going to Jammu then. At that time, Hizbul commander Syed Naveed, his colleagues Asif Rather and Imran were also present in his car.

When Davinder Singh was suspended last year, many of his co-workers said that he was involved in illegal activities (such as arresting innocent people, releasing them with hefty amounts), but each time he was dramatic Used to get acquitted of all these charges.
An officer had also alleged that Davinder Singh arrested a man with a large amount of opium in the 1990s, but later released him and sold opium. In that case, the investigation had started against him, but soon the investigation was stopped. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) started investigating the case of Davinder Singh and filed a charge sheet in the court last year.
DySP Davinder Singh dismissed from service
The General Administration Department of Jammu and Kashmir wrote in an order issued on Wednesday that “the Lieutenant Governor is satisfied that considering the facts and circumstances of the case and according to the information available on the basis, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Suspended) Davinder Singh’s Dismissal is being done from the service on the basis of activities. “
In January 2020, DGP of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh had told that “We have suspended him (Davinder Singh)”. We are sending a recommendation to the government that they should be dismissed.”
Two more teachers from Kupwara terminated
Two more teachers from Kupwara district have terminated under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India by the Lieutenant Governor .
Similar orders were passed by the Lieutenant Governor against Bashir Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh of Village Dildar Batpora in Karnah area of Kupwara, Teacher in Education Department and Mohammad Yousuf Ganie son of Ghulam Qadir Ganie of Trich Kupwara, also Teacher in Education Department.

Reason behind this law?
In the month of April this year, the government in Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a Special Task Force (STF) to initiate action against government employees on suspicion of activities against ‘security of the state’.
The task of this special task force will be to investigate the cases related to the employees.
What is the Law?
Through this order passed under Article-311 (2) (c) of the constitution, the government has the right to dismiss any employee from the job without constituting a committee of inquiry.
